The Brief
An established health and wellness brand with a large blog archive and a catalogue on an aging WordPress install wanted to move to Shopify for a better checkout, without losing the organic traffic the blog had earned.
The Approach
- 01Map every existing URL to its Shopify equivalent before touching content, so redirects are planned rather than patched after launch.
- 02Migrate the blog with titles, meta descriptions, structured data, and internal links intact instead of treating it as disposable.
- 03Check rankings for key pages before and after cutover rather than assuming a like-for-like move preserves them.

- Full URL redirect map from the old structure to Shopify conventions.
- Blog archive migration preserving metadata and internal linking.
- Catalogue rebuilt into Shopify products and collections.
- Post-launch search visibility review for priority pages.
The Result
A migration that carried existing search visibility across instead of resetting it, the harder and more valuable outcome of any CMS move.
